MARCALAN Nipple Cream for Breastfeeding Mums was developed over 20 years ago by Margaret Callanan, a leading Lactation Consultant in Australia.
In her professional practise, Margaret identified a need for a nipple cream that could be fully absorbed between breastfeeds, did not need to be removed prior to feeding, had little or no discernable taste or odour and was easily applied without further trauma to already sore nipples.
Since that time, a new generation of mums have been recommended to use MARCALAN by Breastfeeding Professionals both in Australia and Overseas.

The principal aim of the Who Code is "....to contribute to the provision of safe and adequate nutrition for infants, by the protection and promotion of breast-feeding, and by ensuring the proper use of breast-milk substitutes, when these are necessary, on the basis of adequate information and through appropriate marketing and distribution. "
